Project Capax Infiniti

For the IED course in second semester, team Capax Infiniti developed several projects using Arduinos and Raspberry-Pi and incorporated technologies like OpenCV and Machine Learning in projects oriented to solve real world problems.
The first project - Mirai, was a smart mirror that had a screen behind a two-way glass and displayed information. It also used OpenCV to detect the user's emotions and play songs accordingly. It used Google Voice Recognition developed on R-Pi to detect user's voice commands.

Project Capax Infiniti

The second project - Noctum, was a smart bed which had features like voice recognition, projector, humidifiers and drink holders. Using Amazon's Voice Recognition developed on R-Pi, the bed was completely automated based on the user's voice commands.

Project Capax Infiniti

The third project - SynthPunk, was a Daft Punk inspired suit that included a Daft Punk helmet, an audio-reactive jacket with LEDs and a glove that generated music based on gestures and taps. The Daft Punk helmet was modelled and 3D printed. The jacket used arduinos, LEDs strips and microphone to detect and react to the audio. The glove used Arduino Lily that used mathematical algorithms to generate 50000+ audio tones based on gestures, motions and taps.
